It is with great pleasure that I offer myself as a referral for D. Lynne Washburn. I first became acquainted with D. Lynne Washburn during the Spring of 2012 while working with NASA’s Aerospace Scholars at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. I have had many opportunities to talk with her and observe the quality of her work. D. Washburn works well independently but is also able to participate as part of a team. In addition to her success academically, she holds her peers and mentors in the highest regard and works collaboratively to achieve the goals of the mission. Darri is capable, honest, and diligent. She is a person that has earned my trust and respect and would be a valuable asset to any organization. Sincerely, Dustin Pessatore
In addition to her technical skills in the lab, Darri showed leadership skills during her time as an intern. She was involved in various intern activities and volunteered to support activities whenever there was a call for volunteers. She made sure to try to get all interns involved in activities. She realized the importance of not only working hard on her projects, but also getting involved in all of the activities and opportunities that were presented to her. Darri would be an asset to any organization. Her knowledge, drive, presentation skills and interpersonal skills are all areas where she excels. She has shown that he continually strives to improve. It is for these reasons that I recommend Darri Washburn without hesitation. Thank you, Tina Atchley Internship Project Coordinator USRA/NASA MSFC Academic Affairs Office
